Laurie Loper, piano

Laurie Loper, NCTM, brings multiple decades of teaching experience to Brooklyn Arts Music 

Academy. She has taught students of all ages and levels throughout the Midwest, including at Chambers Music Studio (formerly Music Palette) in Columbus, OH, Lawrence Arts Academy in Appleton, WI, and in her own private music studio in Pickerington, OH. She has been on the faculty of Ohio State University – Newark, Otterbein College in Westerville, OH, and Hope College in Holland, MI. She earned her National Certification in piano teaching from MTNA in 2019, and holds an M.M. in Piano Performance and Accompanying from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She is currently on staff as a vocal accompanist at UNC-Wilmington.
