Music Together® is the perfect family activity in the greater Wilmington area!

Every week in our music classes at Brooklyn Arts Music Academy, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them play together musically. Little ones love playing along in class, and caregivers love being a part of their children’s growth into confident music-makers. And everyone loves our songs that’ll have you tapping along in no time. Music Together® is the perfect family activity in Wilmington, NC.

Join us for the Tambourine Song Collection this Spring!

You'll learn twenty-five Music Together songs and activities you can recreate at home, including our first French-Canadian folk song, "V'là l'bon vent." Your children will experience the contrast between galloping, slowing, sleeping, then jumping up with delight to gallop again in "See the Pony Galloping." In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes recordings and materials for you to use at home, including an illustrated songbook and access to the songs through the Music Together app.

When?

We’re offering the Music Together® Mixed age (0-5) class as follows for spring 2025:

Saturdays 9:00–9:45 AM starting March 22, 2025 (9 weeks) taught by Sheila Hardison

Where?

Our Music Together® classes are held at the First Baptist Sidbury House lower level entrance (15 N 5th Ave. Wilmington, NC). Enter at the downstairs, basement entrance rather than the front porch.

Parking: Park in any of the free street parking on 5th Ave or nearby. Please do not park in the parking lot of the house next door. They will tow!
What to bring: Feel free to wear comfy socks because taking shoes off in the music classroom is encouraged!

Tuition:

$220 for the first child ages 0-5. In addition to your weekly classes, your tuition includes recordings and beautifully illustrated materials for you to use at home, online access to the songs through the exclusive Family Music Zone® and the “Music Together” app, plus a quarterly family newsletter full of resources and music-making ideas.

Tuition for a second child (in the same family) is $110. Siblings under 9 months or third children may attend free with the family. For four or more children in the same family, please email info@bamamusic.org for your registration rate.

*Early bird registration: Complete your registration for each session early for $200 first child & $100 second child.

Year-Round Music Making!

Our program runs year-round, with a 9-week fall session, 9-week winter session, 9-week spring session and a 6-week summer session. While we accept new enrollments anytime (space permitting), we encourage everyone to enroll at the beginning of a session to get the most out of the class experience. And most importantly, the learning for your child is maximized, because we know that music learning occurs over time (rather than in a drop-in format). We can't wait to make music with you and your family!
