Adam Crane, viola and violin

Adam Crane, originally from Brooklyn, NY, has enjoyed an extensive and versatile career as a concert soloist, chamber musician, principal violist, orchestral and operatic conductor, professor, composer, arranger, studio musician, music education and community development consultant, published author, and professional audition coach.

Mr. Crane's passion for the viola was sparked while attending Junior High School in Coney Island. He went on to attend the prestigious Mannes College of Music in NYC, earning Bachelor of Music degrees as a double major in viola performance and music composition, as well as a Master of Music degree and a Post-Graduate Professional Studies Artist Certificate.

Recently, Adam relocated to Wilmington, NC, where he now teaches students of all ages at the Brooklyn Music Arts Academy, conveniently situated in the vibrant Brooklyn Arts District. This delightful coincidence adds a touch of creativity to his journey.
