Megan Ramsey, piano
Megan’s interest in music began at a very young age, watching her mom teach piano lessons out of their home. At five years old she finally convinced her mom to start giving her lessons. She played special music in her church and competed in competitions throughout her grade school years. She also participated in band and picked up other instruments: flute, at eight years old, and percussion in middle school. She joined the handbell choir in high school, which she continued into college. While earning her Bachelor of Arts in music performance, she enjoyed taking classes learning the basics of other instruments, including viola, organ, and even choral conducting. While piano has always been her proficiency, she enjoys playing a variety of instruments. Megan teaches 3-5 year olds weekly in Music is Life! at Mary W. Howe Pre-K. In her free time she enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with friends.
