Debut Ensemble for Young String Players

Our Debut Ensemble is designed especially for our youngest string players ages 5–8. Whether your child plays violin, viola, or cello, this group class offers a playful and encouraging introduction to ensemble music.

Students will learn beginning-level pieces tailored to their skill level and take part in interactive music games that build rhythm, listening, and ensemble skills. More than just a class, the Debut Ensemble helps young musicians build confidence and feel part of something bigger—culminating in performances at BAMA’s exciting school-wide concerts each semester.

If your child is just starting out with strings, the Debut Ensemble is the perfect place to begin their musical journey in a supportive and joyful environment!

All BAMA students are invited to participate in our group classes, which are included in tuition.

Debut Ensemble Location and Schedule

Debut Ensemble rehearsals take place at St. James Episcopal Church on the nine Saturdays throughout the year when group classes are scheduled—Debut Ensemble is one of those group class offerings.

The Debut Ensemble performs as part of BAMA’s school-wide concerts in December and May, offering members the opportunity to share their music with a broader audience.
